Frecklington Signs Contract Extension

What a difference 6 months make?

Six months ago, Lee Frecklington was put on the transfer list and was facing the prospect of leaving Peterborough United. For most most of his Posh career had been spent on the treatment table and had made very few appearances.

However, following his return to fitness and a very impressive showing whilst the squad were at their summer training camp in Portugal, Frecklington was taken off the transfer list and has been ever present in the starting line up this season. He will be missing this Saturday’s home match against Derby County though following his midweek sending off at Southampton after receiving two first half yellow cards.

Frecklington has signed a new two-year contract at London Road which will see him remain at the club until 2014. His current deal was due to expire at the end of this season.
